Who we are

What we collect
When you place an order or join our list, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, and contact details. When you pay, your payment is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
When you use the site, we and our providers may collect standard technical information such as your device, browser, and how you use the site, through cookies and similar tools. See Cookies below.
How we use it
To process and deliver your order, to contact you about your order, to send you our newsletter and release news if you have asked to receive it, to measure and improve the site and our advertising, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Our legal basis
We process your data on one of the following bases: to perform our contract with you (processing and delivering your order); your consent (marketing emails, and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (understanding our customers, improving the site, and measuring our advertising, in a way that respects your rights); and compliance with our legal obligations (such as tax records). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information with the providers who help us run ELARIA: our website and checkout platform (Shopify), our payment provider, our delivery partners, our email provider (Shopify), and our analytics and advertising providers (Google and Meta). Each handles your data under their own obligations. We do not sell your data.
Marketing
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing hello@elaria.com.
Advertising
We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google to show you relevant advertising and to measure how our ads perform. These providers may set cookies or similar tools through our site. You can control these through our cookie banner and your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising directly through your Meta and Google ad settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. Email hello@elaria.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
How long we keep it
We keep order records for at least six years, as tax law requires, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Where your data is held
Your data is stored and processed in the UK and the EEA. Some of our providers, such as Shopify, Google and Meta, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it to UK data protection standards.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to make it work, to remember your basket, and to understand how the site is used. We also use Google Analytics to measure and improve the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising. You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
